Heat, November, and Lazy Days
Can you believe it ?? Here we are in November and the thermometer was almost 80 degrees. Last I checked November was supposed to be a COLD or at least cool month!!! Oh well. Let's see -
Oh yesterday, the Fella and I went to Pinnacle Mountain. We decided against the main trail because of all the people, animals, and the fact that the warm sunny day just screamed SNAKES sunning themselves on the trail. So we went to the visitor's center and went hiking on the Rocky Mountain Trail (we took the east quarry lookiout trail also). The total length with both is able 2.5 miles. Not bad for a days walk! Then he brought me home and he had to go home for a repairman/friend to come over and look at something.
Afterwards, I went to dinner at a friends and had a blast. I eventually ended up at home slouching and watching TV and being a bum.
Today was my day with a high ick factor. Since I'm in grad school - I spend many days at different clinical sites. My site today was the STD clinic. Mostly I did/observed pelvics and such - just a high ick factor! I have to return next week but I will know more of what to expect and hopefully that will be ok.
Tonight the Fella cooked steaks at his house and we watched a movie. We stayed up late talking about work (both mine and his). It was nice. I'm back at home (have been for a while ) and am fixing to head to bed.
Tomorrow is a lazy day. I don't have clinicals (YEA!) and I'm not sure what to do with myself!!! I hope to enjoy it.
